According to the report of Daily Mirror, A British woman was convicted of manslaughter Friday for stabbing to death a child molester after telling authorities "somebody had to protect people." It was a messy job, but someone had to do it, according to a woman who admitted killing her pedophile neighbor.

Sarah Sands, the neighbor was spared a murder conviction when the jury delivered its verdict in London. The woman stabbed 77-year-old Michael Pleasted eight times in their Canning Town public housing project in November, she admitted. She told the police that the guy was asking for trouble, words came right out of her mouth asking who seriously houses a pedophile on an estate. reports says that Sands consumed several bottles of wine before arming herself with a knife going to the child molester's apartment. While arguing, she confronted to Mr.Pleasted about his convictions for child abuse before stabbing him. The pedophile man only smirked at her.

Pleasted had been charged with molesting two boys in the weeks before his death. He also had a criminal record dating to 1970 for sexually harming young boys.
